Remembering Mike McCloskey, & support for Jeanenne

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lenny Sharp and I'm sad to say we just lost a dear friend and great man. I know Mike had so many friends that would like the opportunity to help Jeanenne with the funeral expenses and financial assistance in this trying time. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

*** Update ***

Thank you so much for the outpouring of love and support for Jeanenne in this tragic time. As you probably know, Mike and Jeanenne have a counseling practice and with Mike’s passing and Jeanenne currently unable to see patients, there is no income for some time. So in addition to the funeral expenses, this Go-Fund-Me is in place to provide financial support through the transition. We are grateful for your ongoing assistance to Jeanenne.

This was the announcement for the memorial held on April 29th. More that 150 of Mike's friends and family attended.

Tragically and unexpectedly, Mike passed away on Tuesday April 18, 2023. I know this is shocking news. Our family, and everyone who knew him, are all in shock that he is gone. Right now we are grieving with many tears.

We'd like to invite you to join us on Saturday April 29th at 5:30pm to celebrate Mike's life, and mourn his absence.

Hope Church: 18850 Redland Rd, San Antonio, TX 78259-3570, United States

Please bring food and drink to share, your guitar, and your stories. We will have a short service during which Mike's family and close friends will eulogize him, after which we will have a microphone for anyone who would like to share a story or a song.

We will eat, play music, drink, smoke cigars, and share stories around a fire. This is going to be a party. There is no dress code, wear whatever color you want (kilts encouraged). Weather permitting this will be an outdoor gathering. Come as are you are, come at any time you wish, stay as long as you like. We're looking forward to seeing you.

PIPPIN: I didn't think it would end this way.

GANDALF: End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it.

PIPPIN: What? Gandalf? See what?

GANDALF: White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.

PIPPIN: Well, that isn't so bad.

GANDALF: No. No, it isn’t.

Jeaneanne's brother Jerome, Mike's sons Matt and Andrew, and a family friend Matteo performed this song:
