Michael McKoy

We’re raising funds on behalf of our beloved mother and friend, Vinton who, is also Michale's sister and his primary carer for the last 20 years.

Michael died peacefully in hospital on May 10th 2024 after a 7-month battle with Aspiration Pneumonia.

Michael was born in 1963 with Down Syndrome. From the early days, Michael had been a miracle child. Learning to walk and talk and living well beyond the limited 30-year life expectancy placed on him by medics!

Michael battled through life with gusto and support from his family who, did they all they could to allow this wonderful man the chance to enjoy life.

Michael was an amazing Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He was loved by everyone that knew him.

Michael’s family are utterly devastated by his passing and until early May, had every intention of having Michael return home.

Any donations will go directly to Michael's family to help towards the cost of his funeral.
