Michael Nappi

For those of us who have been following Michael’s journey; family, friends, etc… it is with a heavy heart to inform you all of his passing.

Michael was the definition of a true fighter, with a survivor mentality. His health issues have been extreme & endless. The cards life has dealt him did not stop him from being the best father to his daughters, and pop-pop to his grandchildren, or friend to his extended family & peers.

Michael endured a massive stroke two decades ago, leaving him paralyzed on his right side. Still, he fought every day to be with his children, & his spirit was always strong. There have been other complications throughout his journey that tried to defeat him, but he was an ox; including bladder cancer, blood clots, heart complications/stents, etc… Ultimately, Mike underwent a tracheotomy surgery in November due to respiratory distress after being intubated a total of 3 separate times. Unfortunately, Michael has succumbed to the illness associated with ventilators— his children had to make the torturous decision to place him on palliative care to ease his suffering & allow him to rest peacefully.

Those who knew Michael, knew he was a kind, strong, compassionate, funny & sincere man.
