Michael Northcutt

On Nov 20th Michael was in a car wreck and life flighted to Harbor view. Michael is a 16 year old young man with a heart of gold and willing to help anyone.

And right now, he and his momma could really use some prayers. Suzanne is the provider for Michael and herself. As you can imagine she will be spending all her time at the hospital with Michael. Which leads to financial burdon of no income. This family has helped my family during struggling times, and I would love to be able to help them.

The following is the most recent update from Suzanne

Michael just came out from surgery. Turns out he did have a dangerous tear in his colon. The tear was such that the inner lining of the colon was still intact so no feces leaked out to the gut but he had a 1cm tear that completed wrapped around the outer layer of the colon. They had to cut an approximate 6 inch opening in the center of his abdomen, pull his guts out, and suture that outer layer back together again. It's very invasive and now his gut is going to be all froze up for a few days. Unfortunately, he has to continue with sips of ice chips until his intestines start flowing again. That would be a great prayer - Lord please let that gut start moving again in a speedy fashion.

The doctor said that surgery alone will take 5-7 days in the hospital.

Then, there's the issue with the leg that's in traction and the broken ankle. Because the doctor had to do the colon surgery he's going to need to wait a few days and let his body heal and rest better he can get the leg surgeries done.

He's going to be SUPER upset. Please pray for strength and grace to handle the news.
