Michael Oransky (surgery and recovery costs)

Often we hear “it takes a village”… so I am calling on my village now. A short while ago we found out that my brother has to have surgery to remove a tumor in his lung. The appointment to decide treatment was today 10/30/23 and the surgery is set for Nov 9th. We are hoping for a clean parameters outcome and no further treatment needed. We are praying for the best news - no chemo or radiation, but preparing for the worst. He has insurance but there will be so many expenses that he just cannot afford at this time. Transportation to and from Memorial Sloan Kettering, household bills, and extra childcare costs as he heals, all while being out of work for two to three weeks will be more than he and his wife can manage. Please do what you can to help me to help my brother, sister in law, and my niece and nephews get through this. Their finances are already tight so any amount would be so much help.
