Michael P. Weber Memorial Prize
Donation protected
Mike was a graduate of the Rutger Physician Assistant Program. He worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for over 27 years. He was one of the first PA’s to be hired by the hospital and he was so proud to work there. Mike spent time on the Thoracic Surgery Service, the Main PACU and as a Hospitalist. He was an incredible clinician who loved to teach and advocate for his patients. Mike was also an incredible athlete competing and completing multiple marathons and triathlons. The goal of this campaign is to create an annual prize that would be awarded to an MSKCC employee who best fits the values that Mike lived by in his personal life: mentorship, education and sportsmanship. Mike was one of the bravest, strongest and most fearless people I have ever known. Even after his passing, Mike donated his tissue to Sloan for clinical research. More science less fear. Thank you for your support.
