Michael Parker's Celebration of Life

Hi Everyone,

My family is asking for support with our father's celebration of life and honoring his final wishes. We thank you all for your support. Everything is greatly appreciated.

Michael Parker was an amazing Dad and will be greatly missed. We’ll miss every smile, every comforting hug, every grumpy look. We’ll miss all the time spent at Birthdays, Christmas’s & Thanksgiving’s. We’ll miss every movie date, every family dinner, every vacation. He was a great Dad, and we love him all the more for it.

Michael was a father to four, Dustin, Elizabeth, Daisy, & Sage. A brother, an amazing friend, and a great husband of 17 years. Outside of home, Michael worked in the Iron Workers Union for 15 years. When he wasn’t at home or at work you would find him fishing or camping with his friends. He loved to be outdoors in nature.

Michael was diagnosed with Stage 4 Tonsil Cancer in May 2023. Shortly after he was diagnosed, Michael underwent Chemo & Radiation treatments. Both of which were extremely hard on his body. After four long months of battling cancer Michael passed away on September 17th.

Michael was able to enjoy his youngest daughters birthday on September 12th, five days before he passed.

On Friday, September 15th, Michael had fallen while at home. On the way to the hospital in the ambulance, he had a major stroke and a heart attack. That day, his heart was stopped for 20-30 minutes causing major brain injuries in both his left and right hemispheres.

Saturday September 16, our family was told he had hours to live. This has been a sudden loss for our family that we were not prepared for.

Michael was extremely loved and will be very missed.
