Help with Michael Perroni Memorial and Family Care
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ashton and I'm fundraising to help with the costs associated with the passing of my father Michael Perroni and to help my Mom transition into a lifestyle manageable without his additional income.
As many might know our family recently and unexpectedly lost my dad on April 1st this year just two weeks before his 35th Wedding Anniversary. This time comes almost exactly 6 years from the massive heart attack that almost claimed his life but for the Miracle of his survival through the actions of my Mom performing CPR, an amazing medical team, the support of his friends, church and community, and as my Dad would put it- the grace of God.
In these last six years, we were given the gifts of that time and for us to have been able to have shared more of our lives with him. During this time he was able to walk me down the aisle at my wedding. He was able to see his son grow into himself as the strong, kind and caring man that Nicholas has become. My dad was able to greet his granddaughter Charlotte into this world and who we will now tell story after story about her Grandpap to. And he was able to share six more years of days with his wife and all those who loved him and love him still.
Of course, these last six years held struggles for him as well as they have for all of us. From recovering from his heart attack and surgery to the loss of his job when the Covid pandemic hit. Unfortunately with some of these struggles and the unexpected timing of his passing, many of my dad's affairs still to be put in order and it is for this that on behalf of him that we are asking for your aid.
Donations received are to be used for covering the costs of his's end-of-life expenses including funeral and memorial services and to help aid in closing out outstanding debts (and his half-finished DIY kitchen renovation) and finally to give his wife Donna the chance to keep their home which he worked so hard to make into a place for people to gather, shelter and be loved.
We have no expectations of anyone's charity, but if you want to help and you can, or you pass this on to someone who might be; know that we are grateful. More than anything we want to thank you for taking the time to learn our story and if you knew Michael, for sharing your moments and your love with him.
We will also be holding my Dad's memorial service on 6/3/23 at Magnavino Cellars at 3:30p for those who want to join us. If you knew him then you also know that being the Cellarmaster there was one of his biggest points of pride and that he loved spending his time with our extended Mangavino family. It is only fitting that we all spend one more day there with him sharing good food, great wine and the best of company.
