Michael Schaefer Family Support

Upper Arlington football coach, teacher and mentor Michael Schaefer is a friend to so many in our community.  Recently, Michael’s father was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer which has spread to his esophagus, lymph nodes and liver. John Schaefer served for 35 years as a high school English teacher, football, baseball and basketball coach. He retired to Florida. We are raising money for Michael and his family to support travel costs so he can visit his dad frequently this summer. Michael has a heart as large as his frame. Perhaps your kids have received one of his thoughtful hand written notes of encouragement.  He is a gift to our community.  Please consider supporting the Schaefer family!
