Funeral for Michael Anthony Solazzo

 

Dear friend's or family member's,

 

I am writing to you today to let you know about the loss of Michael. Unfortunately, Michael passed away on September 1st 2021 of 64 years old. Michael was in the hospital for 41 days battling complications caused from Covid.

 

Michael’s obituary will be found here and I will update this page with the link once it has been created. The funeral service will be held at location, time, and date TBD but I will also update this page.

 

We are absolutely devastated by Michael’s passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the service and travel expenses.

 

We will need to pay all funeral costs by TBD but once again I will update once we know.

The funeral home and associated costs: Ceremony, embalming, staffing, hearse or car services, printed materials, musicians or singers, etc: Estimated $3,000

Burial or cremation costs: This may include a casket, urn, plot, etc. Estimated $3,000-$8,000

Flowers, food, and more: Estimated $1500

Travel expenses for family: Gas, rental car(s), airfare, hotel, etc: Estimated $3,000

 

It would mean a lot if you could share Michael’s fundraiser with others who knew him.

 

They — meaning anyone — will tell you that you should prepare for death. Death is inevitable. No one is too good to beat it. Well Michael deserved to, if anyone. He brightened the lives of so many with his belly laugh, sense of humor, and selfless means of carrying himself.
