Michael Stepp, Sr Accident Burn Patient

We are Jimbo and Cathy Stepp, our brother Michael "Mike" Stepp, Sr who lives in Denton, NC, was involved in an severe accident on Monday, November 20, 2023. This occured while helping his brother work on a vehicle. Mike is one of the kindest and most giving people you will ever know along with his sweet wife Vicky. He is always giving of his time and gifts to others. He loves his church and loves doing anything for anyone. He loves his kids and is a new Papaw to little miss Oaklynn who is the light of his world.

Mike was seriously burned from the waist up. He has 2nd and 3rd degree burns on 37% of his upper body. Mike was life flighted to the hospital on Monday. He is currently in the ICU Burn Unit at Baptist Hospital. He will be having his first of many surgeries on Wednesday, November 30, 2023. He will be in the hospital at this time for an unknown amount of time. He will have a number of surgeries to try to help the burns and skin heal.

Mike will be unable to work for an extended amount of time, which right now is unknown. We know Vicky will have undue expenses due to this accident. She will have travel expenses to and from the hospital daily, cost of gas and being able to purchase food and any needed items during this time. Mike will be unable to work for an unknown time and as with all households have the regular bills and other bills each month. They will have a huge amount of medical expenses and bills as this time continues as well that with Mike being unable to work will put an unnecessary strain on him and Vicky.

Prayers for Mike, Vicky, and their kids along with the medical staff are greatly appreciated and coveted.
