In memory of Michael Tirpak

Anyone who has met Michael knows just how amazing and special he was. He was a loving husband, father, and friend with a huge heart and infectious laugh, who was deeply loved by so many.

Michael spent 25 years in prison for a crime he did not commit before he and his wife, Claudia, helped to win his freedom in 2019. He did not let the grave injustices he faced define him and he proudly referred to himself as a “survivor of the system.”

Michael’s sudden death just 4 years after he came home has left a huge void in the world. He had so much more love and laughter to share.
