Michael's Eyes

My nephew, Michael, is a wonderful, smart, active and loving 13 year old boy. He was recently diagnosed with a degenerative eye condition.  This condition is depriving him of his vision at a rapid pace. He will be declared legally blind soon if he does not receive an innovative laser surgery. Unfortunately, the insurance company does not cover this procedure. 
My sister and brother-in-law are desperately trying to raise funds to save their son's vision. They are two regular, hard working people trying to raise their two beautiful children and coming up with this much money in such a short time is nearly an impossible mission.
I truly believe in the proverb, "it takes a village to raise a child" and hope the rest of you do too.  Please help my family save my nephew's vision.
