Michaela (Mc, Mick, Mikey) was involved in a head on collision on October 23, 2020 outside of Ovando Mt on hwy 200. She Underwent two leg surgeries for a
Right Compound tibia/fibia fracture
Left plate fracture and Laceration to both knees (patella rip). She also had a Left eye facial fracture,Right lung collapse,
3rd degree kidney injury, Rib fractures, T1 vertebrae fracture and a Diffuse Axonal Brain injury. She is currently in St. Patrick’s hospital. In the next few days they are going to transport her to a neurological rehab center. Sam and my family would like her in a Neuro rehab center in Salt Lake City where they can support her. But they are trying to send her to Spokane. Currently, due to Covid restrictions she has not been allowed any visitors, Spokane does not allow visitors either but SLC will allow one. Insurance will only pay to have her transported to the nearest neuro rehab center which would be Spokane. She is awake and talking but doesn’t make sense when she talks and has short term memory loss. She needs someone there with her to help her put her thoughts/memories and advocate for her care. This go fund me account is to raise money to transport Michaela to neuro rehab in Salt Lake City and help with medical bills.
