Michaela Culley's Father

I'm writing this on behalf of my best friend, Michaela Culley. After graduating college, Michaela was awarded a Fullbright scholarship to teach English in Austria. Before Michaela left for Austria in the fall of 2018, her dad was diagnosed with spleen, lung and liver cancer. Leaving for her Fullbright knowing her father was ill was one of the hardest decisions she's ever made. Fast forward to three days ago - her father's doctor found a tumor on his brain. The doctor explained that the cancer was spreading extremely quickly and that Michaela's father had maybe a couple days left. Michaela booked an emergency flight home to Pittsburgh, PA and luckily is with her father for the time he has left. However, her and her mother will have to turn their home into a hospice facility with machines. There is absolutely no way to pay for it besides going bankrupt. Michaela is trying to spend all her time with her father, but instead is having to plan a $9,000 funeral and make the arrangements no 23 year old should have to make, even though her family is helping in any and all ways possible. As he only has a few days left, this is truly an "emergency fund" that I'm trying to create for her family. I've started this GoFundMe to not only help pay for the medical expenses, funeral costs and her plane ticket back to Austria to finish her teaching, but to also take this enormous burden off her shoulders.
