Michaela's Surgery Fund

My name is Michaela Spagone and I am a 39 year old trans woman from Massachusetts. I have been cleared to have a zero-depth neovaginoplasty surgery which shall reconcile my body with my identity.

Unfortunately, though I have diligently prepared for this affirming procedure, it has become clear there remain cost items which I am struggling to address. I am not one to ask for help lightly, which makes this message all the more important.

I am seeking to raise $5000.00 to cover costs associated with my upcoming zero-depth neovaginoplasty surgery on February 10, 2023. The funds raised would address the following:

$2500 Insurance Deductible - (In order to cover the patient portion of the surgery cost) My insurance requires a payment before they will allow the surgery to go forward and this amount is what would be my responsibility.

$2500 General Anesthesia - It is highly likely the general anesthesia that will be used in my surgery will be administered by an outside anesthesiologist, who in turn is independently billed and not covered by my insurance or the hospital.
