Michael's Final Days: Avril Needs Your Help

Donation protected

Hello, this is an update for the recent events with Micheal and Avril Black (click here to see the recent story:

). and a call for help from this community for Avril Black with this sad news. As you know, Michael and Avril where just reunited days ago, from Michael being gone for two days, it was unknown where he was. His wife happened to see a clip on channel 5 about a mission in Utah and she saw him eating at a table. She was so grateful to see this and called it a miracle!! She was able to go and get him and be reunited with her husband. We were really hoping to have a video update on the two of them being reunited, the miracle and joy that it brought the both of them, but Michael was exhausted from his trip and caught multiple viruses. He ended up in the hospital primary care for 3 days just shortly after he was home. The virus affected his heart and his kidneys, the prognosis was not good. He was released with hospice care to go home. Michael and Avril drove home and he was able to talk and have a nice time with his wife and observe the beautiful country of Wyoming on the way to their home. As soon as they arrived home, he walked out of the car and up the steps, once inside he collapsed and passed away. Avril was by herself when this happened. (I personally can’t imagine seeing this and I really feel for her!). She tried with all her might to resuscitate him, but was not able to bring him back. I am a long time family friend of theirs, and Avril is a very strong, courageous woman, and I have never seen her cry in the 30 years I have known her, till yesterday. This has been so hard for her. She is heartbroken. I also am heartbroken and really worried about her. Michael and Avril were together for 47 years! A passionate life together! They have had a remarkable life! So many happy memories to look back upon, seeing so much of this country and others!!

A bit about Michael! He and Avril love dogs and both showed dogs, Russell Terriers, for decades. Micheal was a very happy man and always had a story to tell. He was a gentleman and old fashioned. He loved God, his wife and family! He also loved great food, mostly his Wife’s food! (She is an amazing cook). He recently got a new pupppy, (Vivian, Russell terrier) who will help Avril heal from this heartache and be some company during this adjustment. He loved soccer too! Micheal was a bit of a home body and after being in the hospital, he just wanted to go home. He made it home!

We are so thankful that Michael was found and brought home to be with his wife for his last days!! Thank you to this community and channel 5! All who took part in the miracle of reuniting them.

Now we are pleading with you all one last time. Avril is not a wealthy woman, the extra cost from the hospital stay and his funeral cost, is not something she’s going to be able to manage! So we are reaching out to the community once again to help provide a miracle!! Please, if it’s on your heart for this holiday season, please donate to this beautiful friend of mine to help take some of the stress off of her. We will be forever Thankful!
