Help with Micheal Jollimore's funeral expenses

Hi my name is Kimm Kent, one of 4 sisters to Micheal Jollimore (aka: Red, Mike).

My brother Mike, died Wednesday August 28, 2024 in a fatal car crash at 9:28 pm. Leaving all of his family and friends devastated. Mike was so dearly loved.

I had the gift of spending the last day with Mike, picking him up after 27 days in a recovery program. Mike was working on changing his life. He worked hard while in recovery, telling me he especially liked the concept of 'radical acceptance'. I told Mike, "this is the beginning of the rest of your life" while I was driving him to his mom's Delores Smith's house. Mike was supposed to go from his mom's to our dad's Gilbert Jollimore's, but he never made it. None of us saw this tragedy coming and we are in shock.

Mike was determined to be the best self he could for his sons, family and future. The universe had a different plan for Mike, he died his first day out of recovery - hopeful and dreaming. Mike has left behind two son's Alexander and Maddox, who will sadly not have their dad. We are all left with radical acceptance dealing with Mike's loss. He was a son, brother, father and friend whose smile lit up a room.

I am requesting support for the funeral costs, Micheal did not have life insurance.

Any support you can offer would greatly be appreciated. Proceeds will go to his mom Delores Smith for funeral expenses.

A memorial service will be held on September 10th, at Walkers Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd, Upper Tantallon, NS at 11 am.
