Micheal Zogg Final Expenses
Donation protected
Dear friends,
It is with the greatest sadness, We are writing this for all of you to read. Our Husband, Dad, Brother, Uncle, Micheal Zogg; is preparing to go be with Jesus and reunite with his little girls this afternoon.
Saturday evening (10/8) was a typical weekend night, he watched a movie and spent time with family. Shortly there after, he became short of breath and developed chest pain. It’s estimated he was without pulse and oxygen for roughly 8 minutes. There are several factors that may have played a hand in the attack, but at this time we are unsure if it was respiratory, heart, or both. With wife Sandy, daughters Rachel and Tara, and sons Glen and Jake beside him; all medical efforts since 10/8 have been exhausted.
For those of you who do not know our family personally, Mike suffered from a plethora of ongoing medical issues. He was an amputee, who developed a surgical hernia post operation. This hernia is equivalent to the size of that of a nine month pregnant woman. A consultation with the Mayo Clinic determined that the hernia is inoperative, as there are too many things intertwined in the abdominal cavity, and the surgery could be fatal. Mike has been mostly bed-bound since. Amongst the amputation, hernia and all that comes with; he has also been in stage 4 heart failure for quite some time now.
For those of you that do know him, you know that he had so much life in him, so much joy, silliness and LOVE. Even after the tragic loss of his two daughters, he had this happiness and joy in his heart that was contagious. His favorite time on this earth was simple, as long as he was surrounded by the love of his life and his family; it didn’t matter where or what we were doing.
While we are absolutely devastated with what is to come, we also face a worry of financial burden. Mike was very ill, and uninsurable.
He was a simple man and as stated above, he was happiest surrounded by the love of his life, family, and friends. Cremation rights will be accorded to Beck Memorial home in Bloomington, IL. and there will be a celebration of life in the following days, to come.
Please consider praying over our family, and donating if you are able to do so. We are so very grateful for every prayer, thought, and donation during this difficult time.
With love,
Our family
