Michel Goasdoue Memorial Fund

Dear family & friends,

We are reaching out during a time of immense grief following the unexpected death of Michael, our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, who was much loved by so many. As we navigate this challenging time, we are humbly seeking support to cover funeral expenses and to help his mother, Lulu, so that she can continue to live on and manage the farm.

Michael was not only a wonderful and supportive brother, uncle and friend, he gave up his career in Brisbane to live at the farm and take care of mum, who would not have been able to stay at home otherwise - he dedicated his life to providing for her after Dad, in his final days, sought his reassurance that mum would be looked after.

His absence leaves a significant void in our lives, and we want to honour his memory by ensuring that we continue to honour the promise he made dad.

As his death was so unexpected, it will take time to sort out his estate. As a carer, Michael did not have the chance to build a strong financial foundation these last years and we regret to share that we need support to ensure he can have the sendoff he deserves and that his estate is settled honourably. In the event that there are funds leftover, we intend to use this to support mum, as we think Michel would have wished.

Any amount, no matter how small, and donations in lieu of flowers would be deeply appreciated.
