Michel Milly Emergency Medical Bills in Spain

My name is Ilse. I'm the sister of Ingrid (Shlomit) Milly. She and her husband Michel were vacationing with me in Spain. On September 22, 2023 Michel had a horrible stroke. He was rushed to the hospital in Palma de Mallorca, Son Espases, Spain, where he was in the Intensive Care Unit with around the clock treatment.

Israel does not have an agreement with Spain regarding medical coorperation, so the Milly's are being required to pay full price for the medical care Michel received. This is why we're looking to generous people like you to help us in this great time of need.

No gift is too large, or too small.

Shlomit and Michel have lived in Israel since January of 1980. Michel was a Holocaust survivor. They're both pensioners in their 80's.

In their 40+ years in Israel they've served as congregational elders, street ministers, teachers and Bible study leaders.

Michel suffered the stroke and after that a lung infection. The doctor successfully removed a blood clot from the right side of his neck. He was then put into an induced coma. Because of difficulty of intubation the doctor decided to make an incision into Michel's trachea, which makes breathing easier.

Michel passed away Friday, October 13th. He suffered a hemorrhage in his brain because of elevated blood thinners. He then suffered a 2nd stroke together with a hemorrhage with extensive bleeding in the brain and there was nothing the doctors could do. He passed into eternity at 18:15 on Friday, October 13th.

The situation is extremely difficult for my sister Shlomit (Ingrid). She is now in debt to the hospital for Michel's care and her monthly income has been reduced significantly, due to his passing.

All money received here will go to help pay for the medical and other expenses. The hospital bill is now over 50,000 Euros.
