Giving, loving, supportive… and fierce! Fierce when it came to her loved ones and caring for them. 

Michele’s propensity for giving, of her time, her resources, her love and her hugs was something made of miracles.

Throughout the last decade she has served on the Board for Metropolitan Community Church of New Orleans. 

She  worked alongside Alisan Rowland, MCC New Orleans former Pastor and head up efforts for community outreach, organizing key events and also aiding in fundraising. 

Michele was a giver from the heart,  even at the risk of her own health and well being for so many of us. That’s the kind of heart she had. Even in her final hours the doctors were astonished at how hard her heart would beat and the rate at which it continued to pump. 

Completing this after death portion is painful. For the family, for the loved ones and her beloved friends. If you can spare anything, we, those left in her wake would be so grateful if you could help us put Michele to rest. We know she has found peace already but we owe it to Michele to honor her body. 

Any portions of monies remaining after we accomplish this will be directly donated to MCC New Orleans’ benevolence fund. I know she would have wanted to contribute more… and so she will.
