On September 7, 2022 I was indicted for alleged misconduct in the 2020 Election while serving as Director of Elections in Prince William County. Two days later, the VA Attorney General's Office announced the Election Integrity Unit. In December of 2023, two felony charges were droppped by the AG’s office and the third charge was dropped January 3.
“Every aspect of Ms. White’s performance during the election was scrutinized and the evidence is clear that Ms. White did not commit any crimes during her tenure as registrar in Prince William County. and the attorney general’s office wisely dropped the charges.” said Stafford.
The Washington Post article continued “The case was the only active criminal prosecution handled by the attorney general’s controversial Election Integrity Unit since its creation last year.”
We have submitted a FOIA request to the AG’s Office to obtain records related to my case and they responded that they want $8000 and then payment for any records they decide to release.
I need your help in pursuing the FOIA request. Thank you for your consideration and support in this. Anything in any amount will help me pursue this matter.
Again thank you - Michele
