Michelle's Cancer Journey

Michelle needs our help. A big ask but no other option now so please if you can help, please do. This is Michelle's story in her own words.....
Hi I'm Michelle
Back in 2015 I found out I had breast cancer- stage 3. I had right side mastectomy and lymph nodes removed and the surgery was a success after 6 cycles of chemo. I had my life back.
In 2018 I had breast reconstruction surgery which was also successful.
I was back to living again even though I lost my hair - quickly I got used to wearing wigs!
Back up walking mountains I went. I also raised money for Cancer Research. Spending time with family, friends and my animals I felt blessed.
Then in Dec 2019 due to tummy bloating and discomfort, I went to get checked out. They found 9cm tumours on both ovaries. It was Cancer- a different cancer; Ovarian. Stage 3. I was devastated.
Chemo again but was cancer free then for 2 years. Such a relief!
Through standard blood checks, it came back in my pelvic area. More surgery followed but this time it had spread.
Chemo and Chemo tabs kept it at bay for 8 months and I was back to loving life.
As of today, I've just finished 6 months of Chemo but this time the cancer was immune - it hasn't responded. The tumours are now bigger than ever.
I have been given 13 months to live.
The irony of all this is that I feel so well. In discomfort but well. Why would I give up!
On 3rd Oct I start an alternative Chemo once a week for 18 weeks.
Alongside this I can have Bevocizumab which isn't funded on the NHS! This is where I need your help.
It costs £3386 every 3 weeks for 12 months.
This is my only shot at prolonging my life. I'm not ready to leave this world. I love life.
Thank you for reading my story.
Appreciate you all
Love Michelle
