Michele's Breast Cancer Fight

Hello.  All of us, as family and friends of Michele Winn have created this page in an attempt to help raise funds for her ongoing expenses in her battle with breast cancer. She was recently diagnosed as stage 1, and this will be the second time in her young life she has had to fight cancer. As a teenager she had to go through cancer treatment for Osteosarcoma. At that time, she underwent numerous surgeries, many months of chemotherapy and numerous hospital stays. She missed her senior year of High School, but in the end after all of the adversity, she won her battle with cancer and went on to finish her education. She has had many medical issues since that time, but has maintained her vigilance in pushing forward. Despite medical professionals telling her that she would not be able to have children due to her cancer treatments at such a young age, Michele went on to have a son. 

His name is Kristopher, and he is now thirteen years old. Kris is the light of her life, and she is an amazing mother to him. She has many nephews, as well as a niece that admire her and that she loves very much. Her family is a strong one, but with the forthcoming surgeries and impending chemotherapy, she will be, and has been, unable to work for some time. Michele is a devout Christian, as well as a wonderful, vibrant, hard working, amazing woman. She knows that she will beat this again. Michele, has a very loving family and they will remain by her side as always. She is a very loving person, and has never let her medical issues prevent her from accomplishing anything that she sets her mind to. She has always been a hard working mother, and always does her absolute best to provide for her son, and has done a wonderful job. While Michele has some medical coverage through her employer; there are innumerable medical and treatment related expenses that are accumulating quickly, and will only grow as her surgeries and chemotherapy treatments begin this week.
We aren't asking for much, we are normal working people too. Just a few dollars would add up quickly, and we, as her family and friends, can assure you that those dollars would be well spent in her treatment and recovery.
