From October 14th to November 1st, Darian was in the hospital and then moved to the ICU after two major surgeries. Unknown to him and his family he had a Congenital Diaphragmic Hernia and over time his stomach slipped into his chest cavity through a small hole in his diaphragm. We didn't know of this situation until it was life threatening and had to have an emergent surgery. 75% of his stomach died in his chest cavity from strangulation of itself and was also crushing his left lung. After the first procedure, in which they removed the dead organ and reconstructed the viable pieces of it, they test ran the stomach and after 6 hours , the liquid they put through his system did not move past his stomach because the intestinal opening swelled up. He had surgery again to reconstruct the previously reconstructed stomach. Due to these surgeries he will be out of work for almost 2 months, and the bills are piling up, and our apartment lease renewal is in the beginning of December. Between those expenses and everything else in-between (including insurance, food, phone bills), we need some help. I have sold over 100 loaves of bread and have made over 1000 tamales to raise money for us, but some extra help is appreciated and wanted. Please try to help us out if you can, and if not possible , then send prayers or positive thoughts and vibes our way. We truly appreciate both either way. Thank you so much♥️
Eternally grateful,
Michelle and Darian
