Dave and Michelle Hopkins

Hi, we are the Hopkins family, and this is our situation... On December 1st, 2023, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer...a rare, aggressive form of breast cancer. I started weekly neoadjuvent chemotherapy with immunotherapy on December 21st. The plan is 6 months of chemo (several different types), then surgery, followed by radiation. The immunotherapy (Keytruda) will continue for a whole year. I am still working full time, and I have a stellar support system - my husband Dave and all the kids have been so absolutely awesome! ❤️ We all were blindsided by this development.

Just prior to Christmas, Dave traded in his older truck on a 2019 Honda Ridgeline, mainly because we needed something super dependable and good on gas to get Dave back and forth to work in the winter, and me to treatments and doctor appointments... Well, Monday morning, January 22nd, on his way home from work - he was involved in a serious car accident (not his fault) and the new truck was totaled! Thank goodness no one was injured! But, we got blindsided again - and it all feels so unreal, not to mention financially devastating...

We are trying our best to stay positive, and would accept any positive vibes sent our way ... We have started this GoFundMe, to help with all my medical expenses, and to help us replace Dave's truck. If you wish to help us conquer these difficult times, we would be eternally grateful, and so very thankful.
