Michelle Babb and sons - Hurricane Ian relief

Hi, I am reaching out for your support for my dear friend of over 26 years, Michelle Babb, and her sons after Hurricane Ian completely destroyed their home, all of their possessions and their vehicles. As you can see from the pictures, their home was under 9 feet of water during this horrendous storm, leaving their beautiful house in ruins. Thankfully, they are safe, but everything they own has been taken from them by this storm! Michelle, Alec and Jacob (Kyle was at his home in Georgia), left their home to shelter from Hurricane Ian with her mother, Debbie, and her stepfather, John, who also live in the Ft. Myers area. As Ian ravaged her home, it also flooded Debbie and John’s home. As the water levels rose they were faced with a decision and had to wade through waist deep water to find higher, safer ground at a neighbor’s house. The family is so grateful that they are all safe, as are the many, many friends and family that love and cherish them so much! Any amount you can donate to help get them back on their feet during the long and challenging rebuilding process ahead would be much appreciated! They have a wonderful attitude post-Ian, and Michelle has reiterated to me her belief that it’s lives and not “things” that matter. That said, I’d love very much to help them get a head start on replacing everything that was taken from them and settle back into some kind of normalcy!
