Michelle is a warrior

My name is Jen Plante and our dear friend Michelle Pratt is about to go into battle with breast cancer.

She is a single mother to 3 adult children, Michael, Marc and Samantha. She’s a sister, daughter, aunt and friend, and she’s one of the most positive, independent and hard working women that I know.

On April 3rd 2023 she was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma grade 3.

Michelle has met with her care team at BID Plymouth and has a plan in place, and her treatment will include weekly chemotherapy, then surgery and radiation treatments.

In true Michelle style she is ready to face this battle head-on with that beautiful smile on her face, but the truth of the matter is that beating cancer will inevitably take an emotional, physical and a financial toll.

We know that people are going to want a platform to help, we want to ease the burden of out-of-pocket medical expenses so that Michelle can focus on her wellness and get back to doing everything that she loves.

To know Michelle is to love her, and it’s time for us to support her and show her how much we care.
