Michelle & Little Man (9) need help for his succes

Little Man* (age 9) and Michelle (and her dog, Enoch) were united this past summer after a unique camp experience, during which Michelle came to believe she and Little Man were the perfect fit for each other. In need of a stable, loving home where he could communicate fully using American Sign Language, Little Man--who is profoundly Deaf--began to fit right in with Michelle and Enoch, even before officially moving into her home in early September 2023.

Michelle intends for Little Man to become a permanent member of her family as soon as possible.

As if single-parenting wasn't difficult enough, single-parenting a high-needs child with significant trauma history adds even more challenges. As Michelle, Little Man, and Enoch learn to do life together, one challenge after another continues to arise, not the least of which is related to meeting his educational needs. After exhausting every other possibility, it has become necessary for this new, small family to move in order for Little Man to access the program that will best suit his educational needs. Additionally, Little Man's emotional and behavioral needs have proven to be all-encompassing, preventing Michelle from being able to work consistently throughout this transition to a new home as well as in this season of stabilizing for Little Man and his new family.
