Michelle’s Medical Recovery Fund
Hello everyone! As many of you know our dear friend, Michelle, recently underwent a massive head surgery to remove a tumor. It was mid November when Michelle simply checked herself into the local ER for a rash that had been bothering her. It was at that moment things were a little more serious than a simple rash. Nurses then directed Michelle to the local hospital to get admitted for an incredibly high blood pressure reading. How she drove herself to the hospital or didn’t pass out right then and there is still beyond us, but that just goes to show you how strong she truly is! That same night, the doctor ordered a cat-scan because there was just no way a persons blood pressure could be that high fighting off a rash. Cat-scan results showed Michelle having a tumor in her head. Wait, what??? A tumor?!?! Yes! A tumor! She’s then told she’ll need to have emergency surgery but before doing so they’ll have to screen her for COVID. As if things couldn’t get any worse, Michelle tested positive for COVID. Because of the positive test result they could not admit her to the hospital nor could they operate. Michelle over came COVID, and proceeded with the much bigger issue, the tumor living in her head! After many doctor visits and consultations, Michelle was then able to find a surgeon in Colorado who was very knowledgeable about the procedure she was going to be needing in order to remove the tumor. Time went on and Michelle was then scheduled to have the surgery on January 14th. After an 8 hour operation, doctors were able to successfully remove most of the tumor but not all; which means Michelle will either have to have another operation or radiation treatment. Until we know what’s going to happen, Michelle is back at home resting and recovering.
I’m setting up this fundraiser for Michelle, who is my closest and dearest friend! She is one of the most kindest, caring, loving, and funniest persons I’ve ever met! She is always willing to lend a hand out whenever it is needed. Michelle means so much to so many of us.
All received donations with go towards Michelle’s current and future medical expenses as she has a long road to recovery.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and prayers!
