Michelle “Shelly” Padilla, beautiful daughter, best sister, and perfect friend, departed from this world on March 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, and laughter that will forever echo in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Born on November 14, 2002, Michelle graced the world with her presence, her wild curls, and her dazzling smile, bringing joy to all who crossed her path.
A quick trip to the American Dream Mall in New Jersey took a tragic turn and Michelle went into respiratory distress, after she suffered an anaphylactic episode. Unfortunately due to a lack of training and proper emergency response Michelle was not giving the immediate care she needed.
Her family will fight relentlessly to ensure another family will not know the same pain and heartbreak they have suffered through advocating for proper training and equipment for emergency response staff in public settings.
Michelle was a beacon of joy, love, and laughter, always lending a helping hand to those in need. In her honor, her family has generously chosen to donate her organs through New Jersey Sharing Network, allowing her legacy of giving to live on.

Rest in peace, sweet Michelle, knowing that you were loved beyond measure and that your memory will live on for eternity. We will see you in every butterfly and in every rainbow. Her infectious humor and fierce determination endeared her to all who knew her, earning her a place as the cherished best friend of her mother, Angel Helck Padilla, and sunshine of her father, Nelson Padilla.

We ask that you consider donating to assist the family in their funeral expenses as there is no preparation for this type of tragedy
