Michelle Ramsey’s Medical Expenses

My Aunt, Michelle Ramsey, is the most selfless, loving, and caring woman that I know. She has dedicated her life to teaching and counseling elementary students. In January of 2021, she was diagnosed with a rare form of Cervical cancer and after several months of chemo and radiation along with a hysterectomy she rang the bell and was declared cancer free. Fourteen months later, she went to the hospital for abdominal pain and they found that she had a reoccurrence and the cancer had metastasized. It has spread to several areas in her body such as her esophagus, liver, lungs, and pelvic bones. My aunt has been seeing a team of doctors at MD Anderson who have given her a treatment plan of systemic chemotherapy and immunotherapy which come with many different side effects. Her recent complications due to her first round of treatment and hospital stay have led to her utilizing all of her sick days.
