Michelle Rodrigue Memorial Fund

Michelle Rodrigue was a pillar of the Bollinger Canyon Elementary School community. For over 20 years, she served the school as the crossing guard and lunch/recess aide. Each day, she greeted children with smiles, hugs, and encouraging words. She wiped away tears, talked through anxieties, and joined in joyous laughter.

Michelle retired on June 3, 2022 and planned to move to Las Vegas with her husband, Craig. On the first day of their new life, on the road to their new home, Michelle tragically passed away in a car accident.

We are raising funds to build a memorial to Michelle Rodrigue and honor her contributions to the school and her community. We hope to use funds to purchase a new playground "buddy bench", used for children who need extra comfort and encouragement on the playground. We also hope to use the funds to petition for a local overpass to be named in her honor.
