Michelle through a TRAGEDY time to get back on her feet

Hi, my name is Shirlene and I’m fundraising on the behalf of dear friend and sister in Christ Michelle who is going through a TRAGEDY, please let come together and financial support our friend as she will be off work for sometime. Please note this message from Michelle….  “ Good Blessed Day Everyone!

Because HE lives I can face tomorrow.

God is working things out for OUR good and satan has lost because the devil is still a big loser

Jashan and Jasmine are currently located at the same hospital!

Jasmine:

Recovering from

-Concussion

-Fractured  Collar Bone and Wrist

-Slight fracture in pelvis

-She still has double vision/ headaches

-Limited speech due to the cuts and swelling on her tongue. -Thank God she knows ASL to assist communicate at times.

-Being monitored closely from the bleeding on her brain.

-some form of Short Term Memory Loss…. She does not know /recall the accident

-She is conscious but in pain … yet still refuses to take any medication by mouth  

PRINCESS JASMINE questioned the hospital’s version of MAC and CHEESE. It was refreshing to know she hasn’t lost her sense of humour or  personality. She is honestly so strong that it is inspiring.

Yesterday when I asked what she would wants from home. She responded with Jaydin and Jashan

Jashan:

Recovering

-Still Unconscious and intubated

-Assisted respiratory for breathing

His machine started at 14 … currently at “8 peeps”

-There was more bleeding in his lungs but it has stopped  

    ⁃    He has some cuts on his liver

    ⁃    Due to his injury it is important for Jashan to stay still for healing… and he is doing well. Jashan is given muscle relaxants to assist. Looking into his bright eyes today I gave him assurance that he is okay.

Yesterday JASHAN woke up and tried to get out of bed. The nurse said she nearly dislocated her hip running to stop him. It took 3 nurses to get him settled.

Please raise the heath care providers in prayer as well from Toronto Sick Kids/ London Heath Sciences and MacMaster Children Hospital! They are amazing!

Arnold and I have been able to provide care to each child with a rotation to ensure they are both receiving all the love they need.

Please note that as much as we appreciate the offer of everyone visiting , the children really need to rest to regain their strength.

The children are not aware of the tragedy and though Jasmine is conscious her memory is slowly coming back.

I cannot  afford for a slight human error of someone accidentally mentioning the accident to delay her recovery right now . It will be too much for her… at this time.  She is unaware that Jashan is injured or about her.

Sadly my mother has passed… But I know for each individual reading this message you can agree that my mommy  is a virtuous  and phenomenal woman.

There isn’t a single person that has not been heart struck by the beauty which was both externally and internally.

My condolences as I am deeply sorry for your loss just as I am sorry that my children no longer have their Nana  and my brothers and I no longer have our Mom  and her husband doesn’t have his wife here today.

I give thanks as I hugged her earlier Saturday  morning and told her I loved her….. even our last call ended with an exchange of love for one another.

I have not had the time to fully grieve as I have had to focus on my children. The Lord has been my strength and I thank God for all the support from everyone.  Jaydin ( my 17 year old stated…. “ Stay strong mommy we have an army behind us❤️”

And I am humbled and grateful for everyone’s phone calls, prayers, text messages, emails, and having us in thoughts and prayer.

Please understand I am taking it literally minute by minute. I can only bear so much. And it is rough going between both children and working on my own self care. But God IS ABLE

I may be delayed with responses  and again we are all in great shock. I will do my best to return your calls and messages as soon as possible. But I am mostly at the bedside of my babies and it is not always convenient  to step away to leave to speak.

It is a lot! But My God who began it…. He will accomplish it! He is the Alpha and Omega! The beginning and the end and I just need everyone to pray to God for  full restoration of emotional, spiritual, mental and physical healing.  

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted” Matthew 5:4
