Michelle Tranchita - Hadfield Students' Snack Fund

Michelle always put students first. She cared about them and their needs. In lieu of flowers, Michelle's wish was to have funds for snacks to be donated to Hadfield Elementary School in Waukesha, WI.

80% of Hadfield students live below the poverty line and a snack goes a long way towards making students succeed. All Hadfield teachers see this need and purchase snacks for their classrooms out of their own pocket. Michelle wanted to see this need eased a bit for both the students and the teachers giving them space to focus on learning and building community rather than hungry bellies.

All funds will go directly to Hadfield Elementary School where Michelle's friends and colleagues will purchase snacks for the students in need.
