Legal Fund- Harrassment of Holistic Provider

Providers going against mainstream medicine, such as alternative and integrative practitioners, are unfortunately  targets for harassment.  Complaints that threaten my license have been filed by an absentee parent of a former patient who has spent the last two years harassing not only myself, but the single mother and other providers.  I am not one to allow these revenge spawned allegations to mar my professional record, nor am I one to allow the  constant harassment of a single mother or other holistic providers to continue. Not only is being harassed for over two years absolutely ridiculous, it is quite clear that this person and partner have no plans on stopping.  Given the length of this harassment, it is an almost certainty that once this case has been settled, there simply will be a new complaint or other avenue of harassment to follow.

I'm raising $15,000 to hire investigators and experts to review the well cataloged, filed, and documented harassment that has continued for the previous two years as well as for the legal fees required for the lawyers to take this case, including the single mother.  

By consulting a lawyer aware of the details of the pending case, we have created this hopefully accurate list of expenditures:

$450.00 for expert to review harassment per suspect. 
$900.00 a day for depositions by expert
$1,500.00 a day for court appearances
$2,500 retainer fee for the lawyer plus anything over.  

Having these funds in the next two weeks in order to start the process would be ideal so that at the minimum, the expert reports could be generated to be used with the licensing boards.  

I can't express how much having the funds to stop the harassment of not only myself but this amazing single mother would be.  This has continued on for so long that for quite a while everyone on the other end of this revengeful, hateful, and cruel harassment has felt hopeless and like there is literally nothing that can be done.  I have spent a lot of time thinking, praying, and discussing this situation with some trusted mentors and have decided that as someone who historically has never laid down and rolled over, that I need to once again step out and give power to those who haven't had any.  We need to show the world and the licensing boards that those of us who stand up for what we believe in, for parental medical choice, and for the freedom to reclaim health the way that we see fit, are NOT easy to take down.
