Michelle’s Battle With Pancreatic Cancer

The beginning of 2024 marked a turn of events for our family. My aunt, Michelle, began experiencing troublesome GI symptoms. At her first ER visit she was prescribed medication and sent home. She inevitably ended up back at the ER, unable to keep food down. During this visit, they performed a CT scan, which revealed a large pancreatic mass. Entering March, Michelle was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. She has since begun chemotherapy. Her battle with cancer thus far has been relentless and agonizing. She has been out of work for several months, and due to the palliative nature of her care, she will remain at home. Donations will go to Michelle’s medical care and living expenses, as well as support her family throughout this difficult time.
