MICHELLE'S FUNDRASING FOR STRAIGHT UP ABILITIES

June 5-12 - Michelle and her dance team have been invited to perform on the national stage at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games at Disney World Florida.
- Michelle is a self-advocate for Down Syndrome and gifted in dance;
- Michelle recently joined a fantastic dance group at Straight Up Abilities called AllStars. The Straight Up Abilities provides professional performance art training to students who may have physical or intellectual disabilities. This openly inclusive organization focuses on creating and encouraging a community of acceptance, embracing the differences that make us all unique, and bridging the gap between the special needs and mainstream populations.
This dance team will:
- perform on the national stage at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games at Disney World Florida;
- bring awareness to the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of dance classes for a person who has any special needs or disability.
Our funds will go to Straight Up Abilities to support the entire dance team and used for:
- Flight
- Hotel
- Park tickets
- Food
- Accommodations
By donating to this cause, you will not only impacting a group of 20 AllStar dancers, but your donation would also create a lasting impact in the lives of the families, friends, and the community of individuals with special needs.
