Michelle's Medical & Recovery Fund

Hello Friends,

This page is for helping our dear friend Michelle Sherrill with medical and recovery funds.  Michelle resisted at first, but we let her know that many, many friends and clients want to help and don't know how.  This page is being set up by two of her childhood friends who love her very much, Amy Krizan and Stephanie Swindell, and we ask that above all else you pray daily for Michelle.  Michelle has had a tumor in her uterus that has been growing for close to a year now and just recently has been growing very rapidly. She has gone to an Oncologist and although we are still unsure if it is cancerous or not, the doctor wants to remove the tumor ASAP.  Last week Michelle went back to the doctor and they did a sonogram. The main tumor is about the size of a six of a 6-month pregnancy, but they also have found several smaller tumors that are now growing on the outside of her uterus.  There are several steps that are planned for the treatment but until they get in and know exactly what they are dealing with, it is hard to say with any certainty what all will be done at this point. If all goes well (and we KNOW it will) She will be recovering at home for about 8 weeks. Michelle does not have insurance and is self-employed so this is going to be more than her budget can handle.  Not only will the medical bills alone be overwhelming, she will need something to live off of for the 2 months she is home recovering. So many people have stepped up and offered to help... here is where you can make a difference.   The surgery is scheduled for the 14th or the 16th of Novemeber (we will know tomorrow for sure).
