Montego’s Service Dog Training!
Donation protected
Hello all,
Many of you who know me know I love saving animals as a Veterinary Technician. This time I’m the one needing saving. I have had a very hard time these last few years mentally, although I have hidden it from many friends, co-workers, and family. I don’t often ask for help but this time I can’t be too proud to. I’ve finally was able to put a name to the monster that has consumed my life and it is Schizophrenia. For those who may not be familiar it is a chronic mental illness that often causes me to self-isolate myself from friends, family, and society. I do typically have auditory hallucinations, suffer from delusions, paranoia, sometimes severe psychosis and anxiety. Although medications and therapy help with those things to an extent, I do still have some work to do. I have made the decision to adopt a dog who had no family other than the ones caring for him in the shelter and his name is Montego. He was a volunteer favorite and no one knew why he had been passed up by the thousands that visited. Although my journey has changed its course the goal has not. He is great with both people, other animals, and is a complete gentleman. However I must still get the proper training and certifications he needs to accompany me no matter where I may go. For me this is not optional. So I am pleading for your generosity to help me fund his training so that I may continue my journey on this thing we call life. Even if you can not donate I ask that you please share this post to someone who may also feel generous. 100% of these proceeds will go to his training. If there are any questions about this fundraiser please feel free to inbox me. We thank you in advance ❤️
