Michelle's Stomach Surgery

Anybody that knows Michelle, knows what a wonderful woman and friend she is. There isn't anything that she wouldn't do for someone. In March 2009, she had the lap band surgery. She had no problems with the surgery until 2016. Her lap band had slipped which caused life threatening problems along with many other issues. Michelle's insurance initially denied the surgery to repair the slip. After a 6 month struggle with the insurance company, they finally approved surgery for the repair. In August 2016, she was able to get the lap band worked on in order to save her life so that she could continue to be the wonderful mother she is and friend. Ever since the surgery in 2016, she has had a hole in her stomach that is constantly getting infected and has yet to close completely. Now, her insurance company is completely denying the surgery for the complication. This hole makes it extremely difficult to do everyday things that we all take for granted, such as: picking up our childern or even just bending over to pick something up. Michelle needs this new surgery so that she can go back to living her regular day to day life.
