Michigan Artists Traveling to SXSW 2023

Hello, my name is Yorg Kerasiotis and I'm fundraising on behalf of over 25 Michigan music artists traveling to Austin, TX to perform showcases during the SXSW 2023 music conference.

Michigan music acts have been given a platform to perform 4 unofficial showcases in the heart of 6th Street during one of the biggest music conferences in the world, SXSW. The specific shows will be attended by thousands of industry professionals, musicians and music fans from around the globe. Many famous artists have been discovered and careers have been launched during past performances.

We are trying to raise $15,000.00 in funds to offset the travel costs and lodging for these incredible bands and musicians. The funds will be divided equally among all musicians performing (instrumentalists and vocalists). Artists are performing on 4 stages with full sound, all rented out and provided by Michigan Sponsors ONSIGHT75 Productions, The Parliament Room, Broken Blanket Media, Sounds of the Zoo and SHOWX.

The shows are 100% FREE to the public and we are NOT generating any revenue from ticket sales. We are trying to showcase some of Michigan's greatest artists to a wider audience and spread their music everywhere. The artists are paying their travel and lodging costs just for the opportunity to play. We are throwing a fundraiser on Thursday, March 9th at The Parliament Room at Otus Supply in Ferndale, MI and also marking that as the end date of this GO FUND ME.
