Mick Stacey Ironman Championship Utah 2022

Hi,

On behalf of the amazing Michael Stacey we are looking to raise funds for Mick to attend the Ironman Championships in Utah in October 2022.

On May 21st in Marbella we had the absolute pleasure of being there when Mick came 1st in his age group. This Qaulifiedhim for the World Championship.

Mick's record of achievement goes back many, many years, 35+ years! It all started at someone's garage in their back

garden. 5-6 Miles trying to beat anyone else who turned up! It all started with a couple of nights a week in someone's garage in their back garden.

After this came Paris relay, followed by John O Grouts to Lands End Bike Ride in 10 days.

After competing in numerous half marathons with a personal best of 1.16.42 sec, Mick progressed to full marathons with a PB of 2.56.40sec. Having caught the Triathlon bug he entered the British Triathlon Olympic Series. Moving up

distance to Ironman 70.3 with a PB of 5.00.55 sec.

Mick has also represented his country in the World UCI Cycling Championships in Denmark.

Mick is also doing Bolton Ironman on the 3rd July where he will also try and qualify for the World Ironman Distance

Championships.

The list is endless to this man's achievements, and with your help, we would really like to get him to Utah!
