Micklo Corpus Funeral costs

Hi my name is Joe Wairau and I am the nephew of the late Micklo Corpus, Micklo lost his battle with cancer suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday morning leaving behind his family who are in great mourning and shock at his passing, Micklo was a proud yawuru man who lived to protect his family and country, he stood strong to fight for his land and the Kimberley in his efforts against fracking in the Kimberley, he was a courageous, kind, generous, honourable man who did all he could to help his community of Broome, he touched the hearts and souls of everyone he met and anyone who knew him respected and admired him. Micklo left us to soon leaving behind his wife Jean, his children, grandchildren and family members who are left greaving the lost of him so badly at this time. I would like to start this gofundme to raise the money needed to give Micklo the send off he deserves and to try and take any financial pressures off his family in this terribly hard time, any donations big all small would be greatly appreciated and would go above and beyond to help this family and pay tribute to Micklo for all he has done for anyone who knew him and the community of Broome, all proceeds will go directly to the family to pay for Micklos funeral ❤️
