Help to get Mick medical treatment needed in USA

Firstly can I thank you all for taking time to read our story, I know it's a massive ask and I cannot believe I’m having to ask others for financial help to get medical treatment that my husband Mick requires to be cured from the potential life threatening illness but unfortunately we are in a situation where there is no one in the uk that has the knowledge nor the expertise to deal with his rare and complex illness so we are looking to gain private treatment further afield however this comes at massive cost.
Mick's illness journey started back in 2019 with recurrent bouts of cellulitis which were treated in hospital with IV antibiotics however over time his condition developed into a chylothorax (a rare but serious condition in which lymph formed in the digestive system (chyle) accumulates in chest cavity/ pleural space), this effected his breathing and needed hospitalised for chest drains to reduce fluid then had a Indwelling Pleural Catheter inserted so this could be done by myself at home.
Fast forward to September 2022 after many specialist scans no leaks could be found, he had an operation where his thoratic duct was ligated and pleurodesis done however after a months stay hospital he came home with worsening symptoms including the need of oxygen. Further pleurodesis was carried out and with many more hospital stays the leak in his chest cavity has stopped and he has had the chest drain removed. The fluid has now moved into his abdomen which is called chylous ascites so with yet another operation he has a drain placed in his abdomen and a nurse does regular drains for him. Throughout he has been on a strict low fat diet and due to the vast amount of fluid loss which contains vital nutrients your body needs he is now malnourished, he has lost around 32 kgs in weight in the past year along with the loss of body fat and muscle. He has been tested for cancers and cirrhosis with nothing found. The consultant that is treating him has said that there is not a lot more that can be done for him here because they lack the knowledge to deal with such a rare and complex case.
I would be so grateful for any help as this has a potential of being very expensive to treat please donate if you can. All monies raised will go towards the cost of this process. Thank you so much I will be forever grateful Marion xx
