Hello, I’m Rashon Amiel “R. A.” Massey, the founder of MICOPEIA BOTANICA (MICOPEIA and @MICOPEIA onTikTok , Instagram , and YouTube ), and a lifelong herbalist, educator, and advocate for natural wellness. Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to creating handcrafted herbal teas, tinctures, and educational resources that empower people to take charge of their health using the gifts of nature. My mission has always been to honor the traditions of my pioneering herbalist mentors while innovating for a healthier, more sustainable future.
Now, I’m thrilled to announce the next step in this journey: the opening of the MICOPEIA BOTANICA Tea House aka “The People’s Herb Shop.”

Nestled in a vibrant neighborhood surrounded by sprawling vineyards and orchards, The Tea House is located in St. Joseph, Michigan, inside a historic building along the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail. Blending modern innovation with deep roots in our agricultural heritage, we are creating a one-of-a-kind, family-owned space that feels timeless and transformative.
The Tea House will be so much more than a store—it will be a sanctuary for herbal wellness, education, and community.

- To ensure accessibility, we’re developing a physical herb catalog for customers nationwide and worldwide (where shipping is allowed). This catalog is especially critical in an era where social media platforms are ever-changing. It will serve as a reliable and ongoing connection to natural wellness, ensuring that our offerings reach every corner of the globe.
- Recent events surrounding apps like TikTok highlight the importance of establishing resilient means of access and communication. This mail-order catalog fulfills a long-held dream while meeting the urgent need for a stable, lasting resource for our community.
