Help us retain, care for, and tend to the needs of the Medical Students, Residents, and International Physicians that train at the Primary Health Care Centre in Middleton and for all incoming Family Physicians that choose the Mid Valley Region to live, work, and raise their families.
The goal of our Committee, is to ensure we have the support of every community member, community group and business in the Mid Valley Region. We cannot do it alone!
The Mid Valley Region covers Aylesford to Bridgetown and all the communities in between. The success of our Recruitment Committee will require everyone, working together in a positive, inviting environment to help us welcome, integrate and retain Physicians to our Medical Clinics in Kingston, Greenwood and Middleton.
Our Mid Valley Region is one of the most underserved areas in all of Nova Scotia. We have approximately 6000 people without a Family Physician which accounts for roughly, 28 percent of the population in the catchment area of Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
