Middle Park Community Centre

Hey guys! I'm running The London Marathon to raise money for Middle Park Community Centre.

Since it opened its doors in 1982, Middle Park Community Centre has become an integral part of the Middle Park Estate in South East London. The aim for the Centre has always been to care for the children that step through their doors and give them the best experiences that they can provide.

The Centre has always operated an open door policy and provides a safe haven in times of need to all in the community. If you need a chat and a cup of tea with a friendly face then the Centre will never turn you away.

Currently, the Centre offers a popular breakfast and after school club, full daycare and a lively youth club; mainly to children that attend the school I work in or have done previously. I also went to the Community Centre when I was younger during the school holidays and have some of my best childhood memories there.

Middle Park Community Centre always strives to improve its services. They have dreams of creating a warm hub for local people that need and want a place to take refuge in the current cost of living crisis. They wish to develop and grow the youth club that the community needs so desperately. The Centre would love to also create a cross-generational garden area.

However, all of these wonderful projects and ongoing care for the local community and the children in local schools require funding and donations.

I hope to raise as much money as I can for Middle Park Community Centre. The community, including the children I teach, will benefit hugely. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. ♥️
