Midgette’s Medical Bills
Donation protected
My mother-in-law, Carol Floyd “Midgette”, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and is at Johns Hopkins undergoing treatment. My father-in-law, Rob, has been by her side day and night; staying in the hospital to support and care for her.
Although Rob has good health coverage, not all medical expenses are completely covered. Rob has not been working so that he can stay with her around the clock. His devotion is admirable.
Once the cancer is in remission. Midgette will have a bone marrow transplant. Bone marrow transplants can run $200k and up. In addition to the hospital stay, chemo and other medication the costs can be overwhelming. Let’s not forget every day expenses like food and parking for Rob while he stays with her, a mortgage, car payments, etc.
If we can help alleviate any of the burden for them, it would be TREMENDOUS. Please consider donating to support them as they journey down this long road.
Many Thanks!
